June's Favourites

Its obviously now well into July and this post is very late, I apologise.
I had it drafted about a week ago but then life got in the way. When I used to say that, I meant work but now I actually mean life. I mentioned in my update post here, that I recently went from working full time in hospitality to working a 9-5 Mon-Fri and I genuinely feel like after 5 years, I've got my life back.

I will never take for granted a weekend or an evening off or a early night or a 40 hour week or not being screamed at for doing your job. I have the utmost respect for anyone who works in hospitality. Its one of the hardest, most stressful, most unrewarding jobs a person can have. The hours are unsociable, the pay is ok (depending where you work) and the people are assholes. What makes it and made me stay so long are the incredible people you work with and how fun it can be. But for me, it just got to that time where it was just too much on my personal life and my physical and mental health. Now I'm in a much more rewarding job, that allows me to do things and see people and I'm honestly the happiest I've ever been. Anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now and talk through my favourites.

Beer Garden Weather (well cider)

It. Has. Been. Warm. And now I don't work weekends, I have been able to enjoy it and go to the park or a beer garden, or a day out and drink to my hearts content. Plus I've been able to bring out the summer wardrobe. Although in the above picture, I definitely decided to wear leather trousers.

PLL Finale

I knew A.D. was who A.D. turned out to be. I just knew it but I feel like they could have 1000% did it differently and more clever and that accent!! I won't say much more cause I wouldn't to spoil it for anyone who hasn't got round to watching it but I am very sad its over. But also kind of relieved. That was some stress I just couldn't quite handle. And I'm sorry, Addison boo, but I aint got another 7 years to spare.

Shade

I picked this gorgeous shades up from HashTag Sunglasses in the style #KittyKat. These came in 10 different colour options and I'm forever playing it safe with black shades, so this time I chose the Gold & Pink combo. They were $39 or £30.24 plus you can get 10% off with the code NewShades4You, and that code includes free international shipping! They've got so many cute sunglasses I honestly struggled to pick one pair. You can shop both Men and Women's styles here.

Face Mask

For me hump day is pamper day. This usually involves smothering my body in various oils and scrubs to make me look cute AF. Currently I'm loving this face mask from Lush which I reviewed here. I'm a sucker for anything from Lush because of their natural ingredients. I've yet to buy anything from there I really dislike.

Bath

I recently went to Bath for a hen do and forgot how much I love the city. I've only been there a handful of times but its one of my favourite cities to visit. Not only does it have a great atmosphere, cultures and shops, it also has great places to eat. If you ever are thinking of having a city break in the UK somewhere, I couldn't recommend it enough

Iced Coffees

With hot weather comes iced coffees. I think every time I go into town I go and pick myself up a iced coffee. Usually from Costa because I'm really into their reward card lately, they've got their own little app and everything. Plus the coffees taste so good.
