Portmeirion is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Hidden in North Wales you would think its in Italy or somewhere. It was built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis inspired by the Italian town of Portofino and you can definitely see the Italian influences. We were so lucky with the weather. It had rained all day until we got to Portmeirion and then the sun was shining. They have a couple of different cafes and ice cream parlours there so you can just stroll around and have a bite to eat. I highly recommend going just for the scenic views.
I'm now also obsessed the idea of having a pastel coloured house.
