Mid year resolutions

During my time in North Wales with no wifi or 3G I had lots of time to think about this year and how everything's changed and the things I want to focus on for the rest of the year:

-Travel: I forever promise myself I'm going to go on holiday but then money and work get in the way. Even if I can't jet off on holiday I want to make sure I get out of the city I live in more often and go new places. Sometimes not sitting at home alone all day on my ass doing nothing is a good thing. I especially need to travel home more. Once financially I'm on my feet again it won't be a problem. Going home always just gives me clarity and makes me realise what a lovely family I have.

-Forgiveness- Saw this quote on Khloe Kardashians Instagram (source of all my inspiration) the other week which inspired me a little. "Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness. But because you deserve peace". This rings very true to many things in life. It's especially hard why they're not even sorry but it's good to let go.

-Enjoy Little Things: life is very stressful and it will get the better of you if you let it. Instead I've been trying lately to enjoy little things. Little things that make me happy currently are; fresh flowers, candles, face masks by Lush Cosmetics and spending time with my friends and family.

-Save: I'm very proud of how well I've saved for my 2 months without pay situation. Yes I could have definitely saved a lot more but for me the amount I have is the most I ever have. Once I'm in a financially better place I'm going to continue to save and I'm hoping to do a couple of things with that money. The first being going on holiday.

-Be More Organised:
I'm not seriously unorganised but I've still got a long way to go. My memory is awful so I'm using this little weekly planner I bought from Paperchase for £6 to organise my weekly goings on. So far it's much more successful than my previous Filofax.
