How To Make Home Made Face Masks

I've become absolutely obsessed with face masks lately. I've always been a fan of the packet ones you get from boots, especially the peel off ones and then I discovered Lush face masks and suddenly loved natural face masks made from natural ingredients.
So when I went in to my local Lush store and found they had actually sold out of masks, I thought why not try and make my own. So I instantly went to Google, as I do for all life's questions and found a site that had lots of recipes.
I have oily/ acne prone skin so I searched for recipes that combat this. I found 3 recipes I liked and combined them with what I had in my cupboards/fridge.
I read that bananas, oats and strawberries were great for oily/acne prone skin and then added some natural yoghurt and honey which are also great for skin.
The end result looks like you've got baby sick on your face/ that scene from Mrs Doubtfire where she shoves her face in cake. But I could instantly see a glow from my skin and my face was less oily the next day and it even seemed to clear up some of my acne. And it barely cost me anything.

You will need:
  • 1 banana
  • 2 strawberries
  • Natural yoghurt
  • Honey
  • Porridge oats
Method:
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mush them all together. You can blend them all together for a less lumpy mixture.
Smother all over your face and relax.
