London Catch Up Snaps

This visit mostly centred around Oxford Street and Carnaby Street. I also saw Wicked for the first time which made me cry a little. I'm not really a huge musical fan and things don't often make me cry but that did. No idea why. Maybe it was the lack of sleep and mass amounts of travelling that ensued. Although I love London muchly I would never visit again on a weekend. It was SO busy. I literally have never been in crowds like that and I was reminded how much I hate Oxford Street but my sister insisted we shop there.

We stayed in the gorgeous Cumberland hotel which was right next to Marble Arch. Such a pretty hotel. Each room has a unique piece of art in and there were beautiful sculptures everywhere. When I mentioned that it was my sisters birthday they sent up a complimentary bottle of wine and they had bath robes and slippers for us. I've never stayed somewhere where they have that so I thought they were just a myth.
In the morning I had a breakfast buffet which is my favourite sort of buffet. I literally had a starter, main and dessert for my breakfast and if we didn't have to be somewhere I could have probably stayed for hours and just kept going back up for more.
